Official activities  of Dr Betta Edu at her ministry, the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation for last week (4th - 8th September 2023)

Monday, 4th September 2023
Minister of Humanitarian affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu, paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher G. Musa at the Defence Headquarters, Abuja to seek the collaboration of the Nigerian Military in the management of humanitarian crises in the country.

Tuesday, 5th September 2023
Hon. Minister For Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu, paid a courtesy Visit to Chief of the Airforce, at the Headquarters of the Nigerian Airforce in Abuja to solicit the Nigerian Airforce’s assistance in the delivery of humanitarian relief materials and even palliatives across the country, especially to the hard-to-reach areas.

Honorable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu, received in audience the House of Reps Committee on Emergency and Disaster Preparedness led by Rt. Hon Joseph Bassey at her office.

Wednesday, 6th September 2023
Hon. Minister For Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

Friday, 8th September 2023
Hon. Minister For Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu, arrived Maiduguri for a two days working visit. The visit being her first official movement outside Abuja since assumption of office. The Minister was recieved at the Government House, Maiduguri by the Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum.

Hon. Minister For Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu, Distributed some food items to Families and some rescued Chibok girls at the Bulumkutu Rehabilitation center in Maiduguri, Borno State.

Hon. Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu also presented some non Food Items to the IDPs at Shwari Camp 5 in Maiduguri, Borno State.
